star bee smoothie

Today's post features the the color Yellow !

/ˈyelō/ (i like these pronunciation thingies)

The color yellow balances the Solar Plexus Chakra (the center of the body)

Yellow is also believed to aid in digestion, which makes sense if the color yellow activate the center of the body(solar plexus)

The color yellow instills: wisdom, intellect, enthusiasm, joy, optimism . . . i think we can all stand to use a bit more that !

Silly story. My front door is yellow. At the beginning when i was first getting used to it, i would sit and eat right in front of the door with it open so that i could see the beautiful color yellow(and enjoy a nice breeze) and it would make me feel really happy just looking at it.

I know i sound like some kind of a maniac who sits in front of her door grinning and eating a salad(which is true), but haven't you ever noticed your mood changing by the colors you see? There is a reason for that. Each color on this planet activates a different chakra in the body, and makes you feel a certain way.

To celebrate the beautiful color yellow i have a snack to share with you . . .

star bee smoothie
1 1/2 cups fresh pineapple, cubed
1 fresh ripe banana, if you want the smoothies thicker use a frozen banana(optional)
1-2 teaspoons ground star anise
1 teaspoon(plus 1 extra teaspoons for garnish) bee pollen
1-2 cups flax milk, or any nut/seed milk fancy

In a blender combine all of the above until smooth. Don't add all of the milk in at once, adjust to what you want the smoothie to be, thick/thin? Garnish with bee pollen . . . unless you just-don't-want-to.
